How's Business? Its Slow. What Decision Makers Are Talking About for Business Self Care. Covid-19 Innovation

Too often as business owners we get caught up in the day-to-day and can lose sight of our business goals. The basic reason why we started a business in the first place. What was our passion? What was the direction we wanted to take? Where did we want to be in five years?

Recently, when I spoke at a conference for #SoloCEO and entrepreneur like leaders, with business life coach Gail Golden taking the stage. Her message for self care is often heard and the advice for Business Self Care is priceless.

What resonated with the audience, and with me, was the Business Self Care tip. “Take two days during the year and dedicate them to your business.”

A year ago this felt impossible. 48-hours away from everything email, voicemail, design, and website SEO, to “think about” my business?

Thanks to covid- we all have a little extra time on our hands!

That means get away from your office, step away from the brand, and take time to dedicate two days to thinking about your business.

How’s Business? It’s A Little Slow. What Decision Makers Are Talking About Self Care for Their Business.

Covid-19 Innovation

Take a pause, because after all things are slow, and let’s take quick review of your business. This includes turning on your out of the office notice. Because you’re dedicating yourself to growth.

COVID-19 has caused somewhat of a “forced get away” for business owners. We might work from home, or still go into the empty office. But no matter where we work in this New Way of Doing Business (and after you have already told customers about HOW you can still do business) . . . . days are slow.

Consistently from clients I speak with, owner to owner tell me the same thing: “Customers are saving their pennies,” new ideas and strategies are all put on hold.

How do you keep your business alive during times like these?

Use this rare allotment of time for your “business self care.” It not about you. It’s self care for your brand. Your brand that you have taken the time to nurture and grow this far.

Innovate.

Think.

Change.

It’s time to think about business.

On a recent social distance weekend my daughter fishing at the lake while mommy thought about How Is Business? Its Slow. What business owners ARE TALKING ABOUT FOR BUSINESS SELF CARE. Covid-19 Innovation

On a recent social distancing weekend get away with the family, I took the time for Business Self Care. While my darling daughter didn’t catch anything, she did keep trying. She kept re-casting and trying new bait. It was innovation happening right in front of me. Thinking about the problem. And trying to change. She is a Little Genius i would say

Business Self Care: Innovate

Do you know why you’ve suddenly seen a spike in advertising for face masks? Because people are innovating their business. Change is happening at a rapid pace.

Stay at home moms are using their sewing talents to make masks and sell online. Sometimes it’s just on their Facebook page to friends.

Business Self Care: Think

Other companies had to quickly reinvent themselves, like trade show management firms who used to build giant displays for conference center shows. In our event management experience we have witnessed these brands like Nimlock who have completely seen business tank in 2020.

So when all the contracts canceled for trade show displays, owners had to think about their re-brand. How to survive and use the products or production for something different. These companies quickly pivoted to “making plastic barriers” for the office space. Partners like Nimlock were quick to produce new office environments.

From Starbucks to shared workspaces, plastic dividers are all the rage. Now when employees are ready to go back to the office, they have the various tools that they need to help stay safe. Including plastic partitions, privacy windows, and other new ways that business owners have had to think about when getting back to the office.

Business Self Care: Change

When your business is a service, and not a product, these covid-19 times can be a little more challenging. When you sell ideas, the buyers aren’t available for appointments and things can slow down sometimes to a dead stop.

This is the time to re-invest in yourself. Think of a change, small yet intentional.

We’re going to list a couple of questions that we’ve been chatting about with clients and how to think about when it comes to business self care to innovate, think and change the new way of doing business. Rethinking the strategy is what we do.

Let’s get started.

Couple of Questions for Business Self Care: to help you Spend Time with Your business

  • In a new Covid world, at least for the next two years or so, what services can I offer to clients that they need?

  • Is there something that I can take online, including things like the tools are used to offer customers in person.

  • It’s time to add that you new idea as a page on your website, and offer your services online as a consultation package, documents for sale, and other tools that you find yourself or clients in need of.

Top 5 Things business owners are thinking about to improve, innovate and keep their business moving forward

1 Don’t stop advertising

In traditional Joanne Klee Marketing style, we take about what NOT to do. As business owners we get loads of what TO DO advice. But there are some always DON’T DOs too.

Cost versus Benefit::

The various movements in the industry are opening the doors for small businesses to have a chance to advertise affordably during daytime hours. PPC and Google ads is seeing a spike in small business advertisements. Your niche is very possibly open and available at a lower rate. Yes Facebook is showing more ads because large advertisers have temporarily pulled out of the ad game. That leave more room at a competitive rate for your brand!

2. Let the Internet work for you 24/7.

Stay Alive Online. Keep yourself online, and keep yourself relevant. Continuing to advertise allows you to appear in search results when customers are starting to look back for the services that you offer.

3. More About Budget

Finances. Where can I cut costs in my business? Where can I invest?

Yes spending money now is a good thing because prices are low and you can negotiate contracts aggressively. Banks are lending at a significantly lower rate. So if you have the capital now maybe the time, before the regulations get tighter as the covid-crisis continues.

4. Digital Tools for Business

A little management support for decision makers:: As the every day decision maker what can you do to make the day-to-day life of your business run a little smoother? Maybe it is time to look at how you can automate some services? Get your forms online. Set up an online appointment calendar… add a service page to your website. Or refresh that website!

Is it time to invest in customer relationship management? Send a “thinking of you during these times” merchandise. Let customers know you are open for business. Is it time to set up for an automated answering service?

*Again the cost of these things may be significantly lower because business is slow for many agencies. Set up costs may be significantly lower.

5. Re-Dedicate Your Time Slots

Business growth. What are things that irritate you about your business? What are things that you can do better or more time efficient? Are you investing enough time with your family? Are you spending enough time on the business? Now the ultimate question, do you feel balanced.

Obviously there’s no such thing as balance. We constantly shift gears from one business finance decision thing to another marketing strategy. But maybe now is the time to think about how you pivot from business to personal.

At my house we’ve gotten away for a few short socially distanced VRBO weekends fun trips with the family, Because of the new way of doing business, I make sure that I’m not checking email until Sunday night and really dedicated to family time.

Sometimes it’s just the way we think about dedicating our time that is the biggest burden as a decision maker and entrepreneur.

Were You Zoom Bombed? What Can Businesses Do To Protect Employees in Virtual Meetings?

Let’s review in this post some FAQ around virtual meeting privacy and protecting employees //

  • What is zoom bombing?

  • What is problem with unauthorized virtual meeting attendees?

  • What is the solution to protecting web conference meetings?

  • How google hangouts protect employees?

  • How to mute your google hangout?

  • How to deny entry to your google hangout?

  • How to allow email only invitations to zoom and google hangouts?

ZOOM BOMBING 101

Many have heard of the online hackers that infiltrate your zoom meeting with inappropriate photos, videos and comments. It’s even got it’s own trendy name: “zoom bombing.”

Zoom Bombing // The Problem

Many users dont know there is a simple fix to the #zoombombing

You do not have to allow unknown users into your meeting. Employees risk having confidential business information shared publicly. So let’s solve this.

We are online marketers who provide online digital tools to help run your business. We are familiar with these video conference products. Let’s talk solutions.

Zoom Bombing // The Solution

Set a Meeting Passcode.

Yup, that’s it!

Invite only meetings with a passcode limit the „open access path” zoom hijackers can access. If you password protect your meeting with a passcode, a hijacker would have to spend too much time trying to crack the code.

Let hackers zoom bomb others users. Protect your meeting privacy!

We got this //

Keep calm and just stare at your co-workers home decor. It’s a new bonus of meeting distractions. In this photo our kiddos wanted to join our virtual meeting and “get to work” too.

Virtual Meeting Bonus:

Zoom was built for enterprise use, so free zoom accounts are limited to :45 minute meetings. Best thing evah! Short meeting is required!

Google Hangouts // Virtual Meetings 101

Google hangouts is a virtual meeting tool that is easy to use with no sign in required. So how can users create a private meeting?

When you are the host (organizer) of a google hangout, once your meeting starts google send your requests. Anyone who was directly emailed the invite to your google hangout (usually scheduled thru the Google calendar), will automatically be allowed to enter the meeting.

If a user wants to enter your web hangout and DID NOT receive an invitation from you, then google asks your permission to let them in the meeting.

Google Hangouts Bombing Doesn’t Happen // Here’s Why

Google gives meeting organizers meeting control. As the organizer who send out the google hangouts link, you get additional virtual meeting controls.

GOOGLE HANGOUTS GIVES VIRTUAL MEETING CONTROLS, including:

What does it mean for my website when Flash Player will no longer be Supported By Google and Internet Browsers?

Over the last few years, Flash has become less common. Now a days, websites are migrating to newer technologies which are faster and more power-efficient than Flash. And who doesn’t want a more powerful website?

Your business should look great online. . . And if you are not online, your competition will be!

- Joanne Klee Marketing

WHY IS FLASH PLAYER GOING AWAY?

Flash player is becoming extinct. It requires users to make too many manual adjustments in their browser.

The Adobe Flash plug-in lets you hear and see Flash audio and video content on Chrome on your computer. However in order for the features to work, about 17% of chrome users needed to adjust their browsers settings to manually allow each site to run flash (this is a drop from 80% of users 20 years ago, it was popular when I started Joanne Klee Marketing). However, google would not save this setting because of the harm allowance of flash.

“Only allow Flash to run on websites that you trust. Some websites might use Adobe Flash Player to harm your computer.”

- Google

IS FLASH PLAYER HARMFUL TO MY WEBSITE?

Some websites might use Adobe Flash Player to harm your computer. More current technologies allow website developers like Joanne Klee Marketing to update you website to run safe content, videos, share documents and more. Hackers are not the only reason why flash is going away, also having an attractive website that works properly All. The. Time. is another.

  • Couldn’t load plug-in

  • The following plug-ins were blocked on this page

  • display reads: a "site wants to Run Flash" prompt which you need to allow

  • users need to MANUALLY CLICK to add the site to the allow list for Flash

  • Chrome DOES NOT SAVE SETTINGS. Which means customers need to add flash each time they log onto your website = ANNOYING!

WHAT DOES FLASH PLAYER BEING DISABLED MEAN FOR MY WEBSITE?

Over the last few years, Flash has become less common. Websites are migrating to newer technologies, which are faster and more power-efficient than Flash.

They’re also more secure, so you can be safer while surfing websites, shopping, banking, or reading sensitive documents.

Since over 70% of internet use in on a mobile device, these newer technologies also work on both mobile and desktop, so you can visit your favorite site anywhere. So ultimately, what does it mean for your website when Flash Player will no longer be supported by google and internet browsers?

What does it mean for my website when Flash Player will no longer be Supported By Google and Internet Browsers?

Chrome is the most secure browser in the world. From google “Advanced technology like site isolation, sandboxing, and predictive phishing protection keep you safe from security threats.” This means that google cannot allow untrustworthy tools like flash player to run. Adobe announced they are no longer supporting flash player updates - so there goes the security.

You can read more About Goole Chrome and Flashplayer here direct from google.

What are other internet browsers that have disabled flash player?

Google’s chrome browser is not the only internet browser to disable flash player. Other browsers including Mozilla disabled Flash in Firefox. Firefox does not include a native Flash solution like Chrome.

How Do I Fix Flash on My Website?

While there is no single answer to how we actually adjust flash player on your website, we do have website developer tools that let us fix your website specifically.

We can help Fix Flash Player!

  1. First, we will run a quick review your website. We will assess how flash player is used, what website content relies on flash, and take inventory.

  2. Then we can make some recommendations. Usually it is as easy as an on-page website update. We can usually make these adjustments quickly.

  3. If you have audio or video that runs on flash, we will implement newer technologies or plug ins to all your content to work on your website.

  4. Want a quote? Contact Joanne Klee Marketing to get Flash Player fixed on your website

I recently discovered our local sushi place is still open! But they do not have a google listing and I had to go to their website to see their message that they are still offering take-out.

QUICK TIP: Business and restaurants, don’t make it so difficult for customers to know if you are open and offering take-out.

Let’s walk thru some quick tips to make sure customers know your place offers take-out, delivery or catering.

CUSTOMERS WANT YOUR BUSINESS (EATS!)

Search Increase for Take Out Food, Restaurant Delivery and Catering //

Think with Google posted a recent release this week a “restaurant search trend update showing that restaurant delivery and restaurant take out is the #1 search in the last 3 weeks. This is a change from Restaurants near me over the last 5 years (Google data, U.S. 2014–2019). Let’s take this data and turn it into action to advertise your restaurant.

What does the google search covid-19 change mean for my restaurant?

Customers are looking for take-out. Even in this time of crisis, we are eating out delivery style. If your restaurant is offering take out, or delivery, we have to put that information online. NOW! Google search traffic has increased 285% for take-out across the U.S. Additionally search interest for “is food delivery safe” has increased 650% across the U.S. since the beginning of March (Google Trends March 1, 2020–March 24, 2020).

  1. Update your Website: Restaurant Hours and Take Out, Delivery or Catering Options //

Restaurant Website Update for Covid-19:

✓ Create a NEW web page dedicated to Take out, Delivery or Catering.

✓ Include keywords for your take out and delivery service. This should include your location and restaurant name. The basic set up is a sentence that has your brand + food category + location. For example “our restaurant name is serving sushi in Chicago.”

✓ Include keywords for your brand + location and service. For example: “chicago gets take-out at our chicago location”

TIP: It may seem repetitive, but this is how we ‘program your website’ to help google get people specifically to your location.

This is NOT Business As Usual //

Today we are living through a new way of doing business. We are making decisions everyday that were not required on January 1st. It’s a New Way of Doing Business.

Text: times are changing it’s a new way of doing business

We are living through a unique situation where the headlines change daily. Do not misinterpret this post. Crisis Management is the specialty this situation falls under because of the DAILY changes. Higher call volumes, making new decisions, let’s tell customers what you are doing.

It’s About Making New Decisions

Leadership means making NEW decisions around how we conduct daily business. For example: which CDC recommended guidelines apply to your business? What new procedures are employees following? Are employees working from home? This is what we need to tell customers AND employees.

By following new guidelines that in itself is an example of how this is not business as usual. Instead it’s a new way of doing business.

Communications Is More Important Than Ever

How you choose to communicate will be a deciding factor in how your business survives these times.

The four cornerstones of crisis communication will help guide leaders to make the new decisions that come across our desk. What you say in company communications is more important then ever. We share examples of communication in the email templates section.

Share Your Best Information

As business owners and leaders our objective is to share the best information that we know. Our knowledge will help calm customers and set expectations of the new way/s we are doing business.

As you make decisions, they become a part of a ‘continuing to do business plan’ or the common term “business continuity plan.” We have an email example template for sharing with customers your plans to continue to do business here.

Customer Want To Know //

  • are employees working from home (#WFH)?

  • what to do when call volume is high or they can't connect?

  • is email or website the best way to communicate?

This article will guide you through Covid-19 Communications

We used the four principals to shape the Covid-19 examples communications in this post. Do not consider this post training on crisis communications. Instead it’s a mini guide to give small business owners access to the same great Covid-19 communications that corporations have.

Crisis communication relies on the following four (4) principals //

1. Honesty 2. Transparency 3. Accountability 4. Consistency

These four principals translate to the following action //

  • Sharing the best information you have in the moment, tell the truth

  • Make a business continuity plan, inform clients

  • Do what you say, and say what you do

Each section below is dedicated to where to share your message, what to say, and things you might not have considered yet. Basic information will reassure customers about your new way of doing business.

You got this! Let’s get started.

Where To Share Your Coronavirus Updates for Customers?

Inform your customers about the basics before they need to come to you.

Make your message consistent across all channels that customers interact with your business.

Review all the ways clients interact with your brand, and ensure the message is the same at every touch point.

Read the example basic business questions to answer below. Then see our section on where you can update all business communication channels.

comment bubble examples of frequently asked customer questions about covid 19

EXAMPLES OF CORONAVIRUS F.A.Q.

// Questions To Answer on Your Business Website or Email Communications //

What do you know?

Let customers know the basics of what you know. including that you are familiar with current events and how you are staying informed. Let them know if you are open for business.

This step helps establish trust. Be clear about where your information is coming from:

“We are continuing to monitor the coronavirus (Covid-19). We will also continue to monitor updates from our [STATE] Department of Health.”

Where to Get Information?

Let your customer know where they can find ongoing information about your business.

“Please note, moving forward we will provide regular updates on our website regarding business operations the Covid-19.

Visit the website for more information or contact us with any questions. Thank you for your partnership in keeping our families and community healthy.

Answer General Questions That affect All Customers //

Let customers know what you know about your current business operations. A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) is an ideal format for these questions. It can seem obvious in your business that you are or are not working - it IS NOT clear to customers. Let’s keep them informed.

Business owners have the best current information ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS. These are common questions customers have:

  • Are you open or closed?

  • Do you maintain normal business hours?

  • Is my upcoming appointment, procedure or shipment scheduled as usual?

  • Do I need to call?

  • What happens if you need to close business?

“If at any point we are advised to suspend programs or close facilities, we will communicate that information through all means available, including email, our website, and social media.”

What Are You Doing to take action?

Let customers know what you are doing and consider your ‘business best practices’ in the current crisis.

This is an opportunity to SHARE ANY RESOURCES with customers. Examples include:

  • Tell customers if you are taking additional measures for hygiene, cleaning, and servicing your stores.

  • Where should customers go or call if they have additional questions or concerns:

  • Do you have resources? Are you a brand that can help with webinars, set up tech services, provide customer communications? Let customers know about your resources. Examples are below in the ‘By Industry Coronavirus Communication Tips’ section.

  • Please know that offering people to call may increase calls, but it also eases customer concerns. Proactive communication is better then having customers wondering about how your will provide services during a crisis.

Tell Customers What you are NOT doing //

Unfortunately in times of crisis we see an increase in instances of those who might take advantage of the fast rate of changes. Incidence of online crime including fishing campaigns, spam messages and other business damaging crimes can occur.

Inform your customers of any possible changes regarding their accounts or payments.

  • Let customers know you will/will not be calling about account information

  • Let customers know if it’s ‘business as usual’ regarding payments, their accounts, or personal information. If changes do occur in how you process payments or other account information, MULTIPLE MESSAGE POINTS will be required.

  • Tell customers about your business continuity plan. See the example email templates for COVID-19 communication

UPDATE ALL YOUR COMMUNICATION CHANNELS

// BUSINESS CONTINUITY DURING COVID-19 //

Review ALL Your Company Communication Channels //

Update ALL Your Communication Channels Where Customer Can Talk With or Experience Your Business.

  • Quick Tip: ONE PLACE TO HOLD ALL THE INFORMATION

    • KEEP REGULAR UPDATES about the Coronavirus IN ONE PLACE. The website is a good place to have a consistent spot for new info.

    • For example: if you choose to post regular updates on your website, make a commitment (internally) to regularly update the site BEFORE publishing emails or social media posts. The website becomes the priority to keep communication channels open.

    • Do NOT give medical advice unless this is your profession. Instead direct customers to the local Department of Public Health (DPH).

  • WEBSITE: We recommend creating a new webpage specific for COVID-19 updates.

    • Having a dedicated webpage is a way to set expectations of where to find information.

    • Update BASIC Information about the current headlines. OR a list of frequently asked questions is also a good resource.

    • Link to the new page with a button or message on the top of your home page.

    • Generally your website is the first place people will look for information. To help prevent clogging the phone lines. However be sure your message is the same across every touchpoint.

  • VOICEMAIL: Standardize voicemail recordings and send employees a quick example script:

    • “We are open and our business hours HAVE / HAVE NOT changed for the week of March XX. For more information please visit our website.” News is changing very quickly, crisis management tips recommend updating voicemail often, generally daily / or weekly.

    • Or “Call volume is high over the last few days, please visit our website for more information or to check your account. We will do our best to answer your call within 48 hours.”

  • PHONE GREETING: how staff answers the phone is one way customers interact with your business. The Chicago Plumbers Union currently answers calls with “Plumbers of Chicago help keep our homes safe.” It is an easy way to let customers feel reassured.

  • STANDARDIZE social media posts. Review your social media schedule. Make sure scheduled posts or the planned calendar for future updates are relevant to the current events and appropriate!

  • Monitor comments from customers. Reassure as best you can by thanking them for reaching out and take the conversation offline.

    • “We appreciate you contacting us about your concern. Please call our office at - or we will call you - so we can look into this matter.”

  • Email updates / email blasts. Ensure any scheduled messages are relevant to the current events and appropriate! Use the tips included here in this post to update customers via email.

    • If you have a customer or patient email list, sending out a brief email will give proactive reassurance that you are up to date on the coronavirus.

    • If you do not have an email list a CORONAVIRUS UPDATE IS NOT the first emails customers should get from your company!

    • Experiencing high all volume, email customers to let them know other ways they can connect with your brand.

What is the minimum information to have on my Website about COVID-19?

You can choose which of these Website best practices best meets the needs of your business.

A brief statement is often enough to reassure customers. Include your business hours and a note about your business continuity plan.

More Options to Consider //

  • An F.A.Q. page with common questions (like those listed below)

  • A brief statement about what you are doing to monitor COVID-19

  • List your Hours of Operation

  • Tell customers who to call or how to get more information

  • Quick Tip: Employees are your first line of communication with customers. Update your employees before the website or email is updated. Let them know about any updates weekly or daily, as things changes.

green check mark Do’s and red X Dont’s about covid-19

What NOT TO DO about COVID-19?

In classic Joanne Klee Marketing style, we also like to talk about what NOT to do.

  • Do not give medical advice. Empathize and redirect, you can show customers empathy but redirect them to the CDC, State DPH or other public resources for their needs.

  • Ignore Employees: Train employees: encourage employees to be aware of the outing communications, in emails, website updates or social media posts.

  • Don’t think employee know what you know: Update Employees Regularly! Business owners (in order to have well trained employees) need to have a way to let employees know about customer message BEFORE they go out. Are you updating the website, let employees know. Are you emailing customers? Then let employees know. Update your employees weekly or daily as things changes. They are your first line of communication with customers.

  • Do Not Comment on Headlines: While you have an option on the current headlines, or politics. We do not recommend publishing any comment that can remain permanent.

“What goes on the internet, stays on the internet. - Joanne Klee Marketing

How Websites Work in 5 Steps with Google Search (and that Hot Guy on Twitter)

A good example about how websites work with Google Search Results.

Have you seen this handsome fellow on twitter. He is NOT "Patrick Stewart with Hair." However he comes up as a search result option.

Why?

It’s really very, very simple.

How Websites Work in 5 Steps with Google Search (and that Hot Guy on Twitter)

Someone - more then once - searched for Patrick Stewart, specifically “without hair.” The google search brought back a ridiculously hot fellow’s photo - and history was made.

The problem.

It was NOT the actor “Patrick Stewart without hair.”

So what happened?

Okay... quick sidebar about this mix up in images.

Our intention as website developers is to help clients find your website. We are programming the webpages to help people find your business. One way we do this is with keywords.

One thing outside of our control is you - the person searching! This Hot Guy Photo is a great example of how users - searchers - are helping move Google along to find Great Content we want. Even when it’s wrong!

((Below we jump into the 4 reasons that this photo appeared in the search results and how some crazy #fakenews starts. It’s just how google works.

If you want to know more about some of the terminology we use - we linked to our original article on online marketing common terms and definitions (for dummies).))

Here we go - an Example of How Google Search Works in 5 Steps

1. Someone Googled for a photo of celebrity actor: “Patrick Stewart with hair.”

THE Image that was clicked on most? (Super important) is the image is highly shareable (just look at that adorable face). Users click the handsome fellow and stay on the website to read about if this is indeed Patrick Stewart without hair.

This is the Patrick Stewart image that went viral. Not surprisingly! He’s HOT. But he is NOT Patrick Stewart with Hair.

It’s sometimes how websites work, or don’t, with google search.

3. (Some people even share the photo without reading the website - SHOCKING).

In the comments on the original website reddit linked to an imgur.com image. That was it - people went crazy.

Read some of the comments they shared on social, and comment on the image “looks like Patrick Stewart with hair”

4. Needless to say the image goes viral.

Lots of social shares AND more views and comments on the original website.

The website bounce rate is probably low, meaning people stay on the page and don’t quickly click away back to the search results. Staying on the webpage tells google, this image IS RELEVANT to the search. and. . . because Hello! (handsome fellow in the image.)

5. Google loves semantics >

Google wants to know what the website is about - even if the website content is not exactly about Patrick Stewart! The content was RELATED to Patrick Stewart and very popular (low bounce rate).

So what happened?

All those clicks result in google algorithm calculating that this photo is now tagged in google as “looks like Patrick Stewart with Hair.” (Which BTW this is actually actor Andy Whitfield from Spartacus.)

Semantics! This is not fake news.

The semantic mix up of average users commenting on the fact that this guy LOOKS LIKE the intended search is what caused the mix up. It's google creating fake news because it's not human, and can't filter humor - or admiration of Andy Whitfield.

Google related the comments and the popularity of this search results as the ACTUAL Patrick Stewart with Hair (it’s not).

The Googles algorithm that search results run on can cause a mix up.

Creating a relationship to an image or idea is what google looks for on your website - and semantic connections is way beyond keyword research.

We include semantic searches in all our content writing because it works (just like this example, not our work tho). Instead we link all the ways your potential customers search, and not just simple keyword searches.

Yeah it's a little bit how #fakenews works too. . .

See the original twitter search results on Patrick Stewart without hair photo here.

And a little bit more here as twitter kept loving this idea.

DISCLOSURES:

*For the google search results link, it might not look like the screen shot because the search results may have changed based on the activity of searches and clicks over time.
